About Katalin

I am an Ofsted registered childminder with over ten years experience in caring for young children. I studied literature and linguistics at university, specializing in applied linguistics with a focus on language development in young children and multilingualism. I also completed some extra training in pedagogy and psychology. In the final years of my university training, I discovered Rudolf Steiner’s educational philosophy which I found inspirational, and now I implement many aspects of the Steiner-approach in my setting. I worked as a Nanny for years before deciding to start up my own childminder setting. I have cared for various age groups, including newborns, babies, toddlers, younger and older children, and teenagers. I have experience with twins, and I have a good understanding of how to balance multiple children of different and similar age groups simultaneously. Previously, I worked in management roles within the healthcare industry. I always enjoyed taking care of people, and I especially adore looking after and teaching children.
